[Shanghai, June 22, 2016] – Recently, 3M, a world-leading diversified science and technology innovation enterprise, was named the Most Desirable Company for Millennials in 2016 in an annual career survey launched by the American High School Student Association. A total of 13,000 high school students, college students and young professionals participated in the survey. These participants showed strong interest in fields such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), and hoped to make the world a better place by applying their expertise.

Among the respondents who chose 3M as their most desirable company, high school students accounted for 74% and college students made up 21%. In terms of career development directions, 41% of them opted for the "medicine or healthcare" sector, 30% chose "science", 21% preferred "technology or engineering", and another 20% selected "business or corporate management". These diverse career choices also reflect 3M’s diversified business portfolio.
